Location and travel

Plenary talks of Dynamics Days Europe 2018 will take place in the Edward Herbert Building, room J104. Most parallel sessions will take place in James France. The registration desk will be based in James France Exhibition area. More details for delegates upon their arrival and during their stay in Loughborough can be found here. The Edward Herbert Building and James France are both located in the Central Park area of Loughborough University campus (buildings number 62 and 67 on the campus map).

It is easy to get here! Loughborough is in the county of Leicestershire at the heart of England and is well served by road, rail and air. You can find tourist information about Loughborough and the surrounding area here. Whilst at Loughborough you may consider to visit Leicester (10 minutes by train from Loughborough) and Nottingham (20 minutes by train from Loughborough).

Travelling by car

Loughborough is just two miles from Junction 23 of the M1 motorway. The University is clearly signed on all the main approach roads to Loughborough.

There are barriers at all the entrances to the University. Explain to the security gard that you are attending a conference, and she/he will issue you with a windscreen identification tag and a barrier card for exit. For security reasons please do not leave this card in your car. There is a large car park adjacent to the accommodation (car park 7, map reference D4) and a large car park adjacent to the Edward Herbert Building (car park 5).

The following organisations provide useful route planning services:
